Rural Landscaping

Enhance ecosystem health and look good doing it.

SmithScapes has worked with farmers, councils and landowners all over Canterbury and further afield with advice and implementation on hardy native plants for re-vegetation, riparian and rural planting.

We’re passionate about creating beautiful, sustainable and ecologically sound landscapes on Mid Canterbury farms and lifestyle properties. With many years of specialist experience, we know what works well for our surrounding environment.

We can manage the process from end-to-end, starting with a plan. We’ll then pre-spray the area to be planted, rip through the soil and fence the area, plant the selected plants and mulch six weeks later, Following up with a release spray keeps on top of pests and ensures plant growth.
